Hi To All;
I am trying to locate a Manual, a Schematic or a Parts Dealer/Gunsmith to fix a weak firing pin spring on an old reliable shotgun. I have a Korean War era
SAVAGE 220A, 12 GAUGE SINGLE SHOT HAMMERLESS, that has been donated to my VFW to use at our Shotgun shoots (Spring & Fall Target shoots).
This Old gun is an Accurate gun and a winner, BUT lately it has failed to fire a few times. Like the rest of the gun, the Firing Pin Spring is getting old and needs to be replaced.
I started to disassemble the shotgun, but there are way too many small wire springs for me to mess with without a Manual or a Schematic and SAVAGE No Longer carries, Parts, Manuals or Schematics for this old gun.
If anyone can help me locate someone that sells these Manuals, Firing Pin Springs, Schematics or a good and inexpensive Gunsmith that can fix this old warhorse and bring it back
to it's old glory, Please let me know.
Thanks for all responses.

Well, you've got me stumped.

Checked everywhere and the only schematic drawings I can find are for the side lever 220's.

Here is a parts breakdown for a M220B. Not sure if it will help.
