Hello From NW PA

Hey All,

Nw PA Here. Long time hunter/shooter.

I had just purchased a Savage Model 340 in a .222 (Love the gun.). Been wanting to be a more competitive long range shooter, so i'm looking at savage to do some custom builds for aesthetics and accuracy. This weekend i will be picking up a used Savage model 110, in a .243, to start my .243 build.

So where in N/W PA are you? I spend a large portion of each year in the N/C part.
Take a look at the Ridgeway club for your long range interest. Im a member there
but find it easier to just shoot rocks from the yard.

I'm in Oil City PA (1 hour south of Erie, 1.5 hours north of Pittsburgh) Pretty close to the I-80 corridor.

I grew up and went to high school in OC, when I took my wife there she said "...you really can't here from anywhere..." and I said yeah, pretty much.

I live a tad to the southwest of you. I live between Mercer and Sharon. I have done some shooting at a club near oil city, at the Isaac Walton Club. Nice place.
