Just purchased a slightly used Model 10FP in .308
It has a 3x9x40 Bushnell scope on it.
Gun is Box stock with the accutriger.
I bought some Hornaday Match Brass , 168G Sierra match King Bullets, and a RCBS die set.
I have some Varget powder I use for a 22-250, looks like it's a good powder for the .308 as well.
Also have some TAC powder I used in the AR. Looks like the pressure is a lot higher with the TAC so Im leaning tword the Varget to start out.
I have a Zeiss conquest 4.4x14x50 on a AR that I'm thinking of putting on the Savage but Think I'll see what i get for groups with the Bushnell to start off.
