Has anyone in Savage Land found a decent bore guide for the Bmag? I've seen a ton of one size fits all. Not real impressed. What have you all been using that works? Thanks

Pull the bolt out and you can look right down the bore. That will get you on paper. Save your money.

Hey stepheninoe, thanks for the response but I think I didnt make my question real clear. I was looking for a "Bore cleaning guide". I might have a solution to my problem. Contacted an outfit by the name of Posum Hollow. He machines all kinds of bore cleaning guides. $21.00 to my door. Have not seen it yet, but will post if it does the job.

If anyone has one, it would be Possum Hollow.

Let us know if it works. I bought a Savage .17 hmr bore guide from Deweys that was too big for the BMag.

I use Bore Tech "patch guides". Have one for my MK II BTVSS and TR. Excellent products. Call John Rambo and he will tell you if they make them for that model.
I had Possum Hollow make a bore guide for my Marlin 3030 lever action. He is very slow and does not use an "o" ring where guide enters the chamber. Quite reasonable price however.
