savage 116 stock question

hello everyone. i have a savage 116 30-06 and i bought a .308 barrel for it. when i put the new barrel on it. it should still fit my stock right?

also when i put the barrel on and will my action and the 308 barrel fit a model 10/12 bolys stock?

If the barrel is of the same contour, then yes it will fit just fine.

No. The 110 action will not fit in a short action stock such as the Model 10,11, etc...
