Does anyone here know of the E Arthur Brown Comp. site ?
Advertizing shaw barrels...Are these true shaw barrels..

I contatacted Shaw barrels about this and the man said he never
even knew of such a site as this..Something is not making any sense
at all...He said he can make me a barrel in about 4 to 6 months..
I asked, what about the barrels on the E A Brown site?
He said,I have no idea what those barrels are......So is this a scam
or what the hell is the deal here.......:nono::nono::nono::nono:

I have browsed there for a few years but never purchased anything.

Brown is probably ordering them from Shaw just like any one of us would, only he is getting them at a reduced cost because of dealer pricing and volume ordering and turning around and selling them. I have ordered quite a bit of stuff from Brown in the past and always found his service and products to be top notch. I don't think his site is any different than say midway or brownells except that he is more than likely not ordering nearly as many barrels as those guys.

The folks at Shaw answering phones are probably just minimum wage phone jockeys. The folks at Brown probably deal with a dedicated corporate salesman who deals with commercial/large volume sales. No different than calling Savage and talking to one of their customer service people in Westfield - they would have no clue who the sales team at the corporate office in CT are up to or who they're making deals with.

Having done business with both E.A. Brown and GunShack for a Shaw barrel I would go with GunShack.
