Hey there. I recently purchased a savage 10fcp in .308 Winchester. I would like to do as much shooting as possible and have shot Tula fmj in other firearms.
Are there any down sides to using this annoying other than it being "dirty" ammo?

Thank you

Anthony

FMJ bullets do not yield the greatest accuracy and also are not allowed for use on steel targets on most ranges. There's plenty of inexpensive factory match out there for the 308. Check for Atomic, HSM, Nosler, Hornady, FGMM. Those are listed in lowest to highest price range.

Best results are gained through reloading tour own, and once set up you'll find yourself shooting more!

If you want to shoot more, you really need to get into reloading. Except for the cheap ammo like the Tula, good accurate ammunition will cost. I tried some Tula in my M-4gery because the price was attractive at Wally World. That ammunition would barely stay on a 8.5"X11" target at 100 yards. I've had shotguns "pattern" better than that junk did out of my rifle.

Thank you guys.
Ordered a few boxes of fiocchi .308 150 grain for 15.88 instead.

I will try some Tula later to compare
