I have a savage 110 243 I'd like to install new stock and magazine instead of internal box. I cant seem to find much help on this. Also I know its not needed but would like to install a muzzle and was wondering if it would gain anything by doing so. I am a machanic and have equipment to do any modifications needed. here are some pics.

I did find some schematics on the 110 compared to the 110gc will the magazine guide fit in place of the magazine box?

I cant enlarge the photos but it looks to be a stagger fed action. If the action screws are 5.062 apart it is indeed a long action. This is important as there are to different inlets for savage Long actions. Unfortunately the options for yours are limited. It would help to know what the intended use for the rifle to determine what type stock you are after. Amount in your budget helps also. I would bet that you already have a muzzle on your rifle. A muzzle break would benefit you if the recoil from a 243 bothers you.

Bolt spacing is 5" from center to center. And yes its stagger feed. As for budget don't really have one. Recoil doesnt bother me just want the look. Its one i take to the range and coyote. Thanks much.

I think you would have a difficult time converting the stagger feed box system over to a detachable system because of the magazine attaching to the receiver. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge then me will chime in if it's doable.
