Ok guys, this gun is a complete parts gun. Bought the action, someone already replaced the bolt head on the bolt.

The barrel is off of a Rem PSS. I bought this on here a few years back. The chamber was bored off-center. Seller forgot to mention that. Anyway, Had it re-threaded and chambered for the Savage action. Enough was cut off to straighten out the chamber. Plain old 308 chamber. Had RWS cut it back to 24" OAL with his brake installed. Which works really well. Stockade bolt handle, SSS recoil lug, and B&C Tac stock. Now I just have to get it painted and it will be done for now.

The scope I just recieved last week. It is a Konus M30 4.5x16. So far I have put 200 rounds under it and it is holding fine. On this model I counted counted 96moa of Adjustment. I have it zeroed at 100 and have 66moa left to play with. This is with a EGW 20MOA base and Weaver Low Tac rings. I got this on sale for $232 at Midway. The glass seems pretty good. No halo like on some of the cheap optics. It does sorta feel like looking threw a tunnel though. Not as bad as the Nikon Buckmaster in 6-18 that Midway sells. The clicks are firm and positive but not that loud. The SF is stiff, but I like that. My last SF scope the adjustment changed as you shot (Millet LRS).

Now how it shoots. These are five round groups. Both are 44gr Varget and Fed cases with cci primers. One is 168gr A-Max the other is 168 Nosler CC. The first one is the AMax. I think I am going to load some more of these to prove the load.

Move your target out to 300 yards and shoot those loads again.

Looks like you definitely have a shooter!!! Nice lookin' stick.

Nice looking rig. Thats about how my 12FV 308 shoots with 155gr A-max over 45.0gr Varget. You will like the Varget in the 308.

Good Shooting.

Come on. Everyone knows that factory barrels only make tomato stakes. Especially Remington barrels. ;D

I've done several. In fact, I have a stainless fluted Sendero barrel ready for the lathe as soon as I figure out what caliber to make it. I'm leaning toward 7mmRUM.

Amazing what a good chamber job and crown can do. Sin Arms did the chamber and RWS did the brake and crown. The brake works really well for 40 bucks.

I've got a couple brakes from Ross, they are a great brake. Especially for $40.

I've also had Devin do a couple barrels.

Top notch, both of them.

Here's my Edge that Devin chambered and threaded for the RWS brake.
