7-08 er shaw barrel

I Just bought a new er shaw barrel sporter in 7-08 and it is stainless. I hope now that I got talked into trying one of there stainless barrels it will shoot. What do you fellas think? I ordered it 4 days ago from midway and it showed up today. That is speedy service. If I made a mistake let me know.

My stainless Shaw in .223 on my 10FP is super accurate with the 64gr Berger and IMR8208. I'm not looking forward to the day that it needs to be replaced.

I am happy to hear this. I just wonder sometimes why some of the more expensive barrels don't shoot better for the premium price.

Could you put that barrel on a scale and get a weight? I'm curious about how much more it weights than a 22" factory sporter barrel. Looking forward to hearing about how it shoots. Thanks.

In am more then happy with my ER Shaw barrel. Unfortunately I find the stock I bought for it uncomfortable, so I don't shoot it well at all. My friends however love it! I was very happy with my purchase. My only regret is sometimes I think I should have gone 6.5 Creedmoore.
