What is OAL of a .243 and a .308 that will still function in a staggered feed mag?

I just measured the magazine on my SF model 11 at 2.890"

Assuming you will need a few thousandths less in your OAL to avoid any problems...

But I would measure your magazine, I am sure there are some variances from one rifle to the next.
