450 Marlin build

I was hoping you guys could help with this.. Have a friend who is interested in building a 450 Marlin build off a Savage action. He asked what all that entailed, but I wasn't exactly sure. To start I thought, a Savage 110 long action, the barrel, go and no-go gauges, a magnum bolt head, and magnum magazine to feed the rounds. My gut tells me I am forgetting something or is this correct?

Sounds good to me should work well.

Yeah, that pretty much covers it. Keep us informed on the outcome and how it shoots as I've been interested in doing the same thing or a 6mm/6.8 SPC.
