So in advance sorry if this topic is already in here...

I have a savage axis youth model in 7mm-08..as u guys know it has the 20" barrel and what I want to know is if u can put the 22" barrel in 7mm-08 on the youth stock...if u can where can I find the 22" barrel at bcuz I've been looking everywhere and I can't find anything...reason behind this is just bcuz I like longer barrels and I dont like how it looks with the shorter barrel lol...thanks.

$15 paid membership here allows you to post a WTB ad. Most likely will get good offers soon. Or, there are often barrels listed for sale. You could also sell the 20" pretty quick like. or trade. A good source for great after market hunting barrels is Jim at Apache Gun Works. http://apachegunworks.com/

There are other sources for aftermarkets, but I really like how Jim can work with your budget to build what fits your needs... Less expensive but good shooting hunting barrels or high end target barrels. Great guy. He has a good story about how he approaches his business, too.

And...
Welcome! :)

Well I'm not really looking for aftermarket unless I have to..but do they sell the regular savage arms 22" barrel anywhere? The accual barrel that comes with the gun?

People do. Stores do not. The factory barrels can be bought from Savage directly, but they cost more than they are likely worth... About $180. You can get a better after market barrel from places like Apache for a little more. Another option besides member classifieds is Ebay.

Just a friendly warning/comment...

Soliciting sales or purchases outside of the classifieds is more-than-frowned-upon here. ;)

Oh, yeah. It's a great value. It also gives you access to technical articles that's well worth the subscription. :).

And, the deals you can get and make are awesome, too. Well worth it. )

+1 to what Foxx said, not to mention you get none of the Spammers and bull**** artists that you find on other sites, where just anyone can post an item for trade or sale.
