Bottom metal for 10 round magazine for scout rifle

I have an older Scout Rifle. I have down a trigger upgrade and really like the rifle. Have had good results with it in Africa and Canada I understand that there is some new "bottom Metal" available that allows us of a 10 round Magazine. Anyone have information on this?

Advise how old your Scout is and if the ammunition feeds from a "staggered" magazine or if the top cartridge is always "centerfeed".
