Savage Walnut Stock

Trying to decide on to-buy or not to-buy a walnut stock. Guy says it is for a Savage Short Action, DBM, Bottom Bolt Release.
He got it on a trade and does not know who the manufacturer is. Me neither! Anyone have a clue as to who might have made it?

Looks like a Boyd's Featherweight Thumbhole in standard grade walnut instead of laminate. Take a look at one on Boyds web site and I think you'll agree.
