Have a Springfield 1929 am needing a match to Stevens / Savage to look up parts it looks to me like a 85 or 89 Stevens or was the 94 old Model made with the same ?http://i1307.photobucket.com/albums/s595/Joeajax/oldSS_zps2fd9b266.jpg (http://s1307.photobucket.com/user/Joeajax/media/oldSS_zps2fd9b266.jpg.html)

I'd say you were in the right area going with the 85/89 parts, it looks almost identical to them.

The 94 side bolts don't look like they would match with the 1929. Parts would probably be longer.

I have seen pictures on web sights calling it a Stevens 94 but looks like my Springfield 1929 ? Are all these people wrong ? Or just call it a 94 ?

Have you taken the buttstock off the gun and matched it up with the picture above?

After looking a Stevens catalogs from 1920 to 1947 I have found that Model 94, 948, 958, and 107 look more like the parts that are in side the Springfield 1029 that I have. The problem that I have is that if I remove the forearm the ejector works, but if I install the forearm it will not eject the cartradge? Anybody can help? The fireing pin is removed with a screw above the pin like the Stevens 94 ? Any ideas ANYBODY ?Not like the 85 or 89 Model.
