I have found a used mod. 11 with bull barrel in 223 with a scope. It had a tag on it for $490, so I just went along to the next gun. Later after I left I got to thinking it may not be such a bad deal for a used gun? What do ya'll think?

If the scope is functional for anything other than a trotline weight, it's probably not a bad deal. Some of their combo scopes deserve flying lessons.

Can you tell what condition the barrel is in?
What kind of scope is it?
Plastic stock?
Accutrigger?

Lots of details will affect the value.

Good luck,
Dana

You can almost buy a new one for that price. Maybe less with the current $100 rebate.

Honestly I didn't even pick it up off the rack, cause it is a little out of my price range right now, but then I thought about his layaway program. (I got to get my other gun in layaway paid first!). It has a synthetic stock but I'm not sure if it was factory or aftermarket. It looked like a nice scope, not the ones that come with a factory combo, as it had a large front lens.

I seriously need to take a closer look.
