change axis caliber

I have a axis in the .243 caliber. Im fairly new to rifles and have a lot to learn. But I know the axis .243 .308 and 7mm-8 share the same short action magazine. Can I change the caliber of my .243 to either 308 or 7mm-8 by simply swapping the barrels? Or is it something entirely different

Yep, just an easy barrel swap.

Just swap the barrel and away you go. Of course you must properly headspace the new barrel upon installation.
