6BR Norma Repeater

Can the 6BR Norma be made to feed reliably from a DBM? I've found a source for a factory magazine, but I've been told they do not function well and I would need to single feed. If so, can a repeater action be used with the 6BR Norma and a "Fred Sled."

Savage makes a 6br dbm.

I have found that a 308 dbm will feed one round.

When I built my 6mm Norma BR, I went the easy route and used a single shot follower in a stagger feed action.
