Hello Im New here this is my first post, and i hope Im posting in the right spot. I have a Savage Mark 2 G, that i want to put a scope on.

I need some guidance as to what i will need. The Riffle is Drilled and tapped.

Do i need a base and rings?
or just rings?

Or do i need a rail?

Im new into this and would appreciate all the help i can get.

Also what rings and base would work on the Mark 2?

Thank you in advance.

Lots of different options out there for you. You'll need the following

1. Either a 1 or 2-piece base
2. Set of rings that match scope main tube diameter (1" or 30mm)

Any base(s) designed for the Savage Mark I/II/93R will suffice, and no need to get too fancy. Your scope's objective bell will determine what height rings you need, and the rings will need to match the base style (i.e. Weaver style or Dovetail)

Another option is DNZ Products all-in-one GameSeeker mount which is a one-piece mount that has the rings incorporated right into it as well so you're only buying one thing. They also have a similar 2-piece setup in their Hunt Master product. You can check them out at www.dnzproducts.com
