Need info on an older semi-auto

Greetings to all. I picked up an older semi-auto last year, Savage model 6H. For the life of me, I can't find any info on this model. i'd love to have an owners manual,but none are to be found. My guess is that another model's manual would suffice. i would be grateful for any assistance.

Best bet will be to keep an eye on Ebay and Gunbroker for a manual, but I wouldn't hold your breath hoping to find one. There's an outfit out of Michigan that prints a lot of reproduction stuff (owners manuals, catalogs, hang tags, etc). If I can find their name or website address I'll post it later as they might have it.

Ya, not at that price in that condition, nope.

The sad part is that some poor shmuck will pay it sooner or later.

Agreed. Based on Wisner's website it appears the Model 6 shares a lot of parts with the Model 87 and 87A.
