Could I have a new barrel chambered for 7m SAUM and use my 7mm WSM action & magazine to cycle and fire it?

yes you can, all you need is a new barrel and a head space gauge to set it.

I pulled a brandnew .300WSM off a BVSS and had a Shilen chambered in 7RSAUM and man will that joker shoot... ::) Try one of those Brux Barrels fron sinman, I would. Mine is 30 inch with a muzzle brake, it's for target. What type of shooting do you plan to do with it?
