+1 on Darkeagle, I have a couple of them and they work great on my 6.5 CM

Savage will be releasing a 10 round magazine shortly. Looks to be injection molded body with the metal feedlips of the standard magazine. They announced it at Shot Show 2015 with the model 11 scout rifle.

If you want a .223 with high capacity mag just go buy a Mossberg MVP and be done with it rather than messing around with trying to find a hacked-up high capacity magazine solution for a Savage. Sometimes I think some of ya'll go out of your way to find the absolute hardest way to do or get something. lol

Yea, I'm sure that mossberg will shoot as well as the long range .223 I'm building. Can you get the mossberg with a long barrel with a 7 twist? I didn't look but I'll bet you it isn't an option. This one will probably be single fed a lot of the time but I'd like to have a magazine option for tactical matches. I already have a HS precision stock with an adjustable cheek piece so it would be nice to just find a magazine that will work. Is that Mossberg with taxes, dros fees etc, cheaper than a barrel and a bolt head?

Tom Snyder does a great job of building the .204/.223 magazines for the Savage/Axis rifles. Very high quality, and super fast on his turn around times as well. Great people to deal with too.

Me too. Hopefully one of these days, the residue of the ousted politicians will finally be cleaned up, and make everything right with the laws again... hopefully.

I need a couple magazines for a Savage/McGowen 223 build I'm working on. Do you have contact info for Tom Snyder? Thanks.
