Savage 12 VLP barrel shank size

Hello All,

I'm looking at the Savage 12 VLP and see it is offered in 300WSM and 308 (as well as others), can anyone tell me if the 300WSM is large shank and the 308/243/22-250 small shank in the 12 VLP?

I thought all the magnums were large shank now. Someone will jump in and correct me but that is how I understood it. The standard calibers are small shank I think. Call 1-763-682-4296 and Jim at Northland can tell you the right imfo.
