Current model 12s are stainless. Bolt handles typically have the larger bolt knob. Other wise the same.
Model 12 target actions have a solid bridge.

Not all current Model 12's are stainless as there's still the 12FCV and lots of new-old-stock 12FV's still floating around out there.

Unless it's a Target, single-shot or right-bolt/left-port model there's no difference between the actions.

O.K. So I’m looking to replace the stock. So stocks listed for a Mod10, is good to go, as long as the mag configurations, and action size is correct ???
and dose this also apply to replacement barrels ???
thanks !

You are correct as long as the correct bolt release is also chosen. Bottom bolt release actions don't drop into a top release stock very well, I just tried one for gits and shiggles.

i think the trigger in model 12 may adjust down to around 1.5 lbs

The LRP will go below a pound, but you can't cycle the bolt quickly. It is also blued, not stainless.

So as J. Baker stated the Model 10 and Model 12 are identical action specifications if the 12 is not a target, single shot or right bolt left port model. I have no hands on experience with a Model 12.

My next question(s)
Are the current Model 12 LRP actions 4.40 spacing?
Are the current Model 12 LRP actions all large shank?
