EGW Bases and Burris Signature Zee rings are a great provin combo thats versatile and won't scratch your scope.
Medium Signature Zee rings will fit almost every scope you'll run into.

On my 2 10fp's I have 2 piece Burris with the Burris XTR low rings(42mm scope) works good for me. On my 110fp I put the EGW 0moa with the same rings for the same size scope.
I have a EGW 0moa for a short action that I may swap over to the 10fp 223. Just working on other things at the moment.

The only reason for going with a 20 moa base is for longer distances where your scope won't have enough internal elevation to click out. At 600y, the typical .308 will need 13 to 15 moa of elevation from a 100y zero and 38 to 40 moa at 1000y.

How much internal adjustment does your scope have?
