when using the pc-7 for bedding the reciever on my savage 110 i used 1/4"x28 all thread studs wrap with tape and i believe the tape got hung up inside the pillar not letting the reciever seat fully in the stock, the front pillar on my savage 110 is about 1/8" below the pc-7 bedding. do i need to dremel the bedding down to it reaches the top of the pillar and redo?

Yep...start over. If all you have is all thread, fill the threads completely full of wax or shoe polish and then cover them with a drinking straw.Wax the dirinking straw too.

it is not hard with a dremel and a wheel just got to be extra careful not grind out anything you don't want to hit i been using it at lower speeds 6-7 so it doesn't vibrate as much

i was going to pick up some cheap lipstick at wallmart and mark either the bedding or the reciever and see where it is making contact

I haven't been involved with that kind of bedding since I was in college.

Another clever trick. Now I can raid the old lady's makeup box instead of buying bedding black.

Keep 'em coming. So far I have everything in stock....

Thought PC-7 or PC11 might not adhere to plastic???
