Scope Mount for 340B

Would like any suggestions for mounting variable power scope on 340B. It seems that the bolt will not clear the eye piece. Am I limited to single power scopes with no eye piece power adjustment?

Higher rings may add some clearance, as well as see-thru mounts, but personally I cannot tolerate the additional height of the see-thru style. B-Square makes a mount for the 340 that would allow you to use higher rings to gain additional clearance. My google-fu revealed several images of 340's with variable power scopes installed, so it can be done.

I have one of the B-Square mounts on my Springfield 840, clears the bolt fine with my 9x scope...not sure if the 340B is tapped for the mount.
