99C Mags - Best, Worst, Extended?

Hey all.

Grew up shooting a neighbor's .308 99E.

Now that I'm back out west where I can use it again, I just ordered a .308 99C.

After searching a bit on the Forum, I found a thread about mag extenders for (I'm guessing) Bolt guns.

Extended magazines for a Savage 99?

Where I have been is largely out of the country and in the unfortunate company of EBR types.

What I have been smoking is premium Black Powder.

And, if folks can/have been turning Blind Mag Bolt Guns into box feeders, why NOT a more-than-four for the 99C? The Lever doesn't impinge... and, like I said, it would be a heck of a lot more fun & practical than an AR-10...
