Ive seen the replacement bolt handles for Model 10s and such but nothing for the rimfires. I have the FV with the tiny little ball forged as one piece. Is there a bolt handle out tthere for sale for the MkIIs? Or am I looking at having it turned and threaded? Had thought about buying the Bolt Lift kit from KRG and just filing down the ball to make it fit. Thanks in advance for any input.

I, just this past week, had a friend cut the majority of the ball off my markII and tig weld a case hardened standard 5/16 bolt to the end. once I decide which aftermarket knob I want to go with I'll grind the welds to match the contour. I'll post pics when it's done.

If you look at the design of the bolt on the Savage rimfires you'll notice that they're not modular like the 110 bolts which should all but answer your question. Only viable solution is to have it custom machined/modified to your liking.

As mentioned, you'll need to have it threaded. They come out pretty decent.
Here's a stainless one

Very nicely done, it really improves the look of the rifle. That's the route I'd like to go with the rifle I'm working on for a friend. Who did the work on yours?

There we go. I couldn't do that on my phone for some reason. I got it done on my comp at work though

Here are a couple pics of my jig in case anyone wants to make one. So far it has worked for a variety of bolt handles including Savage rimfires. Using it in a 4 jaw chuck you can adjust it about anywhere you want.

Wow! I did mine by hand. If I had a lathe like that I'm sure that'd be much much nicer.
