6.5x47 build

considering the making of one of these for target rifle..Build on
savage 110 action..Need to decide on barrel weight..
Do you think a heavy varmint or bull barrel.....in 8 twist of course..
will appreciate all ideas and advice..And also thinking
or using a Shaw barrel in blue finish..Whats your honest
thoughts on this idea..:cool:

I would go for a used higher end barrel rather than a new Shaw, they are good barrels just not target barrels, and the 6.5x47 with it,s small case capacity, they are not hard on throats.

I'd go with the heavy varmint at 26 inches, 1/8" twist.
