bushnell trophy doa 200 scope, egw base, weaver quad lock rings.
when i first got the scope the windage adjust was real loose/easy to turn no real clicks. i sent in to bushnell after season they fixed it. they sent a paper back with settings it said i had it adjusted beyond recomended number of clicks. said i should shim or change base/rings to compensate. was 33 clicks. 20 max.
i took to range over the weekend to resight in. was hitting 6" low at 50yds. again too much according to them. i got it hitting at 100 but knob is almost all the way. elavation.

anybody have a thought?

20 moa base?

Yes, I'd consider a 20MOA base, or a pair of Burris Signature Z rings with 20MOA inserts if you plan on keeping the setup you have. According to Bushnell that scope should have 60 inches of adjustment @100 yards, you should not have to put on that much elevation to sight in at 100.

If you have access to a different scope I'd try that first. If you still have to put on that much elevation at 100 yards then in my experience it is likely an issue with the mounting system, either base, rings, or both.
