Looks pretty good, even if it is a Remmy. LOL.

Jim does good work. I'll bet you'll find that barrel shoots even better than it looks.

Nice 300wsm is a bad round. Drop mag OD stock all you need is a cerakote job for one killer rig.

Nice gun as is

I agree Jim is the best. I'm still amazed that the .338 Edge barrel I got from him out shoots the three .338 Lapua's I've had over the years, including a $3K custom build. I have less than $700 in that build.

I really like the look of the flat/matte black and the green. That's why I finished it off that way. Even blasted and painted the bottom metal and scope base so everything would match.

You do realize making a Remington post on a Savage site is a ban-able offense, right Sparky? LOL j/k

I've owned and been building Savages for going on 40 years now. My first deer rifle was a 110 30-06 many many years ago. I've owned literally dozens of Savages, so I comfortable saying I'm a Savage guy thru and thru. I've been through all the Savage knocking over the years with the rest of you. I can tell you that no one has ever knocked one of my custom Savages at any of the numerous ranges I've shot at after seeing my groups or giving my rifles a try. I actually find it funny that the other manufactures are starting to produce rifles with barrel nuts and triggers similar to the accutrigger after all the years putting down Savage primarily for those two features.
