What action is needed to build a .284 win?

Best off with a Long Action to take advantage of long seating bullets, but a Target Action would work too.

If your going long action might as well go 7x57 or 7x57AI.

I would definitely go with a long action. I have a .284 Win and a 6mm/284 on a short action and frequently struggle with OAL problems with heavier bullets. Don't make my mistake.

Don't know why anyone would consider a 7x57 over a .284 Win, especially since RE17 came about. But I guess that is subject for another thread....
