I have 1:10, Scenar L 175gr, 71,4mm
What is the best velocity (speed) for paper shooting. Max 600m competition. Now I have 770m/s and looks fine..

Depends on your rifle, the powder, primer, and cases you're using, and, if you really want to get picky, it will change with the atmospheric conditions.

Some reading about "load development" and "ladder tests" would be a good place to start. This along with other shooting related forums have hosted a number of discussions on the subject and there are some really great books out there by some of the most successful shooters in the sport.

Am I correct with this thinking ?

I have these data with these results. But the problem is temperature. It was about -2C (28F). The best results seems for 40,5gr - speed 785m/s.(2575) But this is in very cold weather.
So, if I want have this speed in better weather /+15/ I have to use 39gr, because the program data shows it.

I know, the best way is to use best weather and best bullet speed to know the best loads.

I will try ocw shooting method or ladder test.

But this is first step...

Some shots are shooters mistakes. To average speed you have to add 2m/s, because chrono distance
