Recommened Scope for Mark II FSS

Hi all,

Newbie,

Picking up a new FSS and I'm looking to purchase a scope for it.

This is the first scope I will be buying and I would like to know your recommendations.

Im digging the Simmons .22 Mag I picked up when I bought my FV. Course the rebate had nothing to do with it. :rolleyes: If youve never set up a scope, Id suggest getting an optic that is already mounted in the rings. Theyre pretty close to dead on and "should be" level in the rings. Then you just have to tighten the rings to the mounts on the rifle. Also, make sure you get a set that is able to fit a weave mount. 3/8" rings are too small to fit. But really any small caliber scope will work. This is my current rig.

Price, about $140 with base and rings. Range, most likely up to 100yds

A lot of gunshops will install a scope for you if you buy it from them.
