I have a project in mind to increase the LoP but Im not looking to strip my working rifle. Are the standard stocks that hard to come by?

I'll bet the stocks come out of the woodwork, everybody has two or three laying around.

My first suggestion would be to get a paid membership ($15/yr) so as to be able to put up wtb,wts and wtt ads in the classifieds here. It will also get you access to the technical articles. Best $15 you could spend as savage owner. Once you post your first ad, though, DUCK! Stocks will come flying at you pretty fast. :)

Good to know. Just didnt want to pay to find out that the tupperware stocks were a prized item.

Not going to close this just yet, but it's teetering on the edge of essentially being a WTB ad which as has been previously mentioned should be in the classifieds. Probably plenty of take-offs laying around, most just don't ever try to sell them because 99.999% of the time no one's looking for one much less willing to give anything for one.

Incoming.....Boom! Seriously though I see them on Ebay constantly and if you spend the $15 to join there is at least one in every savage owners closet and some are like me and have one savage rifle but 4 stock in the closet.
