I am building a 6.5x55swede for punching paper. My max range will be 600yds, and I only have $200-250 to spend. I was going to pull the nikon buckmaster 4-12x40 off my .17hmr but decided I want a bigger objective and thats what I shoot while other rifles are cooling down so it needs to keep its scope. This new scope wont be permanent but get me through while I save money for some GOOD glass then Ill move this down to something else. Thoughts?

Also check opticsplanet.com and look at the SI Sightrons.

Redfield Revolutions run in that price range. I just picked up the 3-9x40mm TAC-MOA for $240 (I'm still waiting for the $30 rebate). It's a good price for American-made glass.

You missed with bushnell 4-14 deal. It was $99 from PSA.
