info on rifle

I traded for a savage rifle today and was looking for info as I am new here. The man told me it was a 112 fwss, but I thought 112 were long actions and ss meant stainless. My rifle has a 26 inch bull barrel and a synthetic stock in22-250. The stock is not cheap like newer models and he said it was a limited run in the 90's. It is a single **** type which I thought were 10 models. Pre accu trigger fir sure. Any info would be appreciated, as I am hopping itvus a tack driver. Thanks

Also it is a blued non flutted barrel with a target crown

It is a 112 FV-S. It is a long action, as the model 12 short actions weren't made until late 1997. As for the "limited run".... I doubt it,....it was a standard catalog item.
