Top bolt lease in a bottom bolt release receiver

Can anyone tell me if a bolt from a top release receiver can be used in a bottom release receiver?

Yes, but before you switch bolts, always be sure to headspace.
Or should I say AFTER you switch bolts...??? :)

Same bolt. Different sear, bottom metal and stock.
