I have a "Cowan" rest, it's solid and affordable. Also all proceeds go to the school where they are made.

For long range work i would consider a sinclair international F class bipod. ..its on sale right now;)
If your talking hunting with it go with a Harris or atlas.
Thanks a lot, limige. You made me $226.94 poorer. 😳
Seriously, thanks for the heads-up. I've been eyeing these for a long time. Just needed a little prod...

I like my Atlas pod... Also liked my Harris, there are advantages to both. I like the options provided by the Atlas and tend to lean towards it. The Harris is extremely simple. I shoot off a lot of different barricades and have to move the gun through tight areas in the tactical matches I shoot. The Atlas will stay in whatever position I put it in. The Harris can be hit and closed at times and also has a larger footprint than the atlas when closed.
For just having a pod ti shoot off of my first choice is Harris. When you need more options due too many improvised shooting positions I like the Atlas.
For F-Class or ELR I would look at one if the nice wide footprint options that are out there like the one pictured above.
