Was deer hunting over Christmas and I wanted to get a decent varmint rifle. Found a used 70's Remington ADL in a .243 but then found a new 10FXP with the inexpensive Bushnell scope in the .243 Winchester as well. I opted for the Model 10FXP. Seems to be a decent well built gun with synthetic stock. I have read of Savages out of the box accuracy so I bought it. I'm sure I will replace the scope but I felt it was a good deal for a good varmint rifle. Looking forward to loading up some brass and sighting it in. This is the first Savage bolt action that I've bought and I'm sure it will be a good one ....
