A few pictures of my first Savage. My father got it from a pawn shop for me when I was 9 years old. One of my favorites in my gun safe.

I do like old guns and especially old guns with a story behind them. Kudos to you for keeping that one.

Love the old 24's, and a real shame they stopped making them and replaced the with that 'thing' they call the Model 42.

That is a nice old gun with a history, doesn't get any better than that.

Very nice! Brings back memories of the one I had in New Mexico back in the early 70's.
