I recently purchased a Savage Arms Rifle Stock 110 Series Long Action Blind Magazine Left Hand
Synthetic Black
Savage Arms part # 106956
This stock appears milled for what I see described as a "new style trigger guard".
I am interested in a black, metal guard which will fit my new stock.
My dealings with Savage always start with "give me a serial number" but my rifle is from the '60s and off their database.
Does anyone have a part number for this "new style trigger guard"?
Or
Does anyone have a part number for a metal trigger guard specific to Savage Arms part #106956?
Thanks!!
Dave

Have you tried Gun Shack? One of the vendors in this forum. I recently purchased a trigger guard for a 112 LA from them. Give 'em a call.

Found it! Thanks to a gentleman lurking these threads! Ask for Savage part 106980. Abt $20 plus shipping. Yes, it is metal.

I have thought many times of buying metal trigger guards but for the life of me I think the plastic guards look like metal on my Savages.
However on other brands that had plastic trigger groups and trigger guards the first thing I did when I bought them was replace the plastic parts because they looked plastic.

You might look up Foxx. I bought 1 from him not to long ago. He may still have some left. I'm assuming the trigger guard is the same for LH and RH.
