So my first build is underway. I want to break in my barrel (28" McGowen) with some left over powder so I don't waste my Varget. Would a load of 25 grn of W748 and 87vmax be safe enough? I just want something to shoot into the dirt, clean the barrel, wash rinse and repeat for the first 20 rounds or so. This way, when I get to the range this weekend, I will be broken in and ready to test loads.
