Has anybody had any experiences with savage gunsmithing? I am going to get my model 12 accurized by them or thinking about sharp shooter supply any imput would be greatly appreciated

Your choice either or will work.
On second thought why not try it yourself. Recoil lug change,action bedding, trigger change,stock change, possible barrel swap, all things you could do at home and save $$$$

With all the Savage people that have been on and off these sites over the years, I have yet to hear anyone talk about having work done by Savage Gunsmithing. That spells trouble for me, because if they did good work people would talk about it. Looking on their site I can tell that most of their prices are greatly inflated(compare different things between them and SSS or other smiths), and I'd guarantee they couldnt time and true an action as good as Fred at SSS.

Personally I would go with what I know and use SSS. Matter of fact, I'm calling to schedule mine very soon(maybe today...LOL)
