Rifle/scope/ring ccombination?

Hi folks,

I did a quick search to no avail so figured I'd ask here. If its the wrong place please forgive me and point me in the right direction, thanks.

I've recently purchased a brandy new mark 2 trr-sr. I'm leaning towards a Nikon bdc 3-9x40 but would like to draw on your experience as to the correct rings, or perhaps other optic reccomendations? Rifle will be used for small game at less than 100yrds, and the occasional problem beaver.

Well I went with the Nikon 3-9x40 bdc and Leupold PRW weaver style perma-rings. If anyone has any must do upgrage suggestions I'd love to hear them. I think the focus for this rifle has shifted for it to be accurate 100-200 yards. While I understand consistency depends on the shooter and ammunition, I'm curious as to your suggestions.
