So, Been on site for a Hour, Just trying to find out about a gun, 22-250 from Dicks Sporting Goods, Heavy Barrel With Bushnell Scope, any takers? Good? Bad, can't find any info anywhere, casual shooter, Anyone Know of this gun? 11 VT

Don't know, but they are a Dick's exclusive. Maybe they run sales... ask them about the Savage $75 rebate. Somewhere on here I read that they are offering same deal somehow, even though it does not technically qualify for the factory rebate, THEY have worked out a deal on this model, too. But Savage won't tell you that... I think they made an arrangement with the same rebate company, or something like that.

I picked on up in 223 and when I get it dialed in I have no doubt it will shoot. First trip to the range I shot at 50 yards because the range was super busy and wanted to put rounds down range and when I didn't pull shots it was shooting .25-.50/5 shot groups. This was with factory 55 fmj, Once I get better ammo and can get back out and shot at 100 I have no reason to believe it can't hold .5-.75 groups. After all was said and done, with tax I got mine for $400
