Question about changing calibers.

I have a Savage 116 FCSS in 270 win. Let's say I want to change the rifle over to a 7mm mag. It would seem the action and bolt might be different making the swap impossible. Someone please school me on this.

The action will be fine, the bolt face will need to be changed. I suggest a complete reading of the FAQ at the top of the page and then ask any questions from there.
