Just accidentally found this forum. I own a Savage 93R17 and am looking seriously at the Savage Hog Hunter in .308. Was trying to figure out which site would be best to ask about Scope ring mounts and quick release rings for the Hog Hunter. When I found this site, I signed up. Not asking about the mounts and rings now, I’ll start a thread in the proper place.

I’m sure I passed thru Lakeview at some point in time years ago. You sure don’t have any problems finding places to stretch out for some real long distance shooting over there. Getting out beyond 100 yards here in the brushy coastal range isn’t so easy. In fact, down right difficult.
